Hi, the first LD was Pan & Scan and had a unique golden color timing.
No open matte as the film was shot with anamorphic lenses.

Stamper are there, in net any screencaps of this Blade Runner LD?
I love Blade Runner, my best is Directors Cut. I have two version Snapper from 1998 and remstared from 2006. Both for me, have great color grading. I hate "teal" Final Cut

this is the antidote to the blade runner box set. the original 1983 pan and scan laserdisc of the US theatrical cut, released by embassy pictures. stereo analog sound. i love it. probably my favorite laserdisc. director's cut? final cut? widescreen? digital sound? remastered? no, you get deckard saying "sushi. that's what my ex-wife called me." in voice-over and projectionist cues before reel changes. LDDB says this has a "terrible" video transfer, but for 1983 it's pretty slick. the movie looks like a two hour-long vintage super bowl commercial, just as it should. the only issue i noticed is that the picture is not quite unsqueezed all the way (anamorphic P&S) if you watch in proper 4:3. but if you switch to 1:1 pixel aspect ratio (e.g. 720x480) it actually looks right on the money. the REAL problem is simply that it's a CLV disc and early 80's CLV discs always seem to have that fuzzy haze all over the picture, at least with my player. this particular disc also has a mild case of laser rot. gah i love it so much. this is definitely my favorite way to watch the domestic cut of blade runner. Update time. Been heavily working on this and Road Warrior and slightly changing the scope of the project. As it stands now I'm giving up my plans for a "Restored TC" that used grading from 35mm and deleted scenes and was basically the DC without the unicorn.
The short of it was that I just didn't like the way it was turning out color-wise and the longer I went, the more it was beginning to feel redundant. So off it goes for now. Concerning the "Restored DC", I'm also conforming the isolated fan score to work with this cut and also trying to cut the WP soundtrack to work with this. I just love those air traffic controller VOs. We shall see if it works. Concerning the IC v2.0, I was originally fixing up a handful of shots and redoing the luma. Well that changed and I've gone and re-done several chunks of the movie to better match the 3 caps of the CC LD that were done by different people. Since the original project is now several years old and my technique and technology has improved, I decided to give a once over to see what I could improve. There will also be a new cap of the CC soundtrack and I will cut this project down to the US TC for anyone who might want it. Although that is not officially part of this project. A bit disappointing to hear that you've dropped the "Restored TC" version, I was looking forward to that! Regardless, I'm excited to see what you end up releasing.
Finest kind.

Sorry Dek, didn't think anyone cared about that version anyway. In the end I felt like it was a waste of time. Well not waste but taking time away from the other two which felt more important. But you never know, I might go back to it. I already had a ton of work done on it.
Edit: Also appears someone reported my BR comparison. I doubt the auto content got it after all these years. That stinks.

One thing to consider, is that by fixing Harrison Ford jaw to be in sync with the english language track in the final cut, Deckard is now out of sync on all foreign dubs versions.
