Oh, yes! Looks pretty good. Like spoRv, I prefer the 3rd picture. However it lacks a touch of yellow that seems to be there in the 4th picture, but too much. The 3rd one is a little bland but the contrast makes the characters to "pop up". The 4th one has more "style" and looks cleaner, smoother, but a bit too much like video. Reminds me of Basic Instinct on Blu-ray. It might be a little too much saturated, like CSchmidlapp says. An in-between could be the way to go.

Wasn't this one a better match to your Blu-ray pic? At least Zeus is in the same position.

All those pics reminds me of the first Die Hard DVD (the one with the double disc that has the LD master). It's edge enhanced to death, but it has the correct top framing (the remaster DVD and the Blu-ray crops off a large chunk of the top making the film unwatchable), more left and right information, and colors that are similar to BB pics, save of course the fact that they adjusted a bit to video master. It's very close to BB print.

Okay, so, now I've had a look at it on my TV and I'd say go with the 4th picture "BD Regrade+highlights pulled down+50% luma from the BD", but reduce saturation by 5 to 8%.
I'm amazed by the potential the current master had and the f***ed up job they pulled with it.

I'm kind of torn between the two... They both have their merits. Argh! Maybe we should see the whole scene in motion to make a decision.

I think picture 4 has almost no advantages besides the not blown out highlights. The shadows are much nicer and punchy in version 3. Should not be hard to fix the highlights and keep the rest.
