Here's something weird: the French TV channel Paris Première just broadcasted the movie a few days ago, and it started with the 20th Century Fox logo, as if we were in the US. And yet, the master was free of any English subs in foreign language dialogues.

Yeah sorry. The video sample has been done for a couple days. I still need to mux in a soundtrack and upload it. Just haven't had a free moment to do it.

Having said that for the last 35 to 40%, the parts you couldn't take pics of, I used the one lut that best matched the majority of the film. I kept it unaltered for interior and night shots. For exterior day shots I used the same lut but with a little of the green removed and more yellow added. That seems to best fit the pattern of color timing for the film up until then.

I'll try to upload in a few hours.

Okay, just watched the latest attempt. Overall, it's a very good improvement. However, there are still some issues. The key word to sum it up would be inconsistency. I noticed that from one shot to another, inside the same scene, brightness or contrast, or maybe both at the same time, are inconsistent when it cuts to another angle and even when coming back to the prior angle. Many shots look overly bright, in fact. The same inconsistency goes with color saturation. In many places, there were way too much orange in skintones that looked more natural in the next or prior shot. In fact, the last hour, for which I had no pics to share as reference, looked more consistent throughout. Maybe you've been overzealous in trying to match every pic I took for the first hour. Another thing that I noticed about inconsistency is the amount of yellow/gold that gives that golden hue look to the film. Sometimes, it's just right, then it's too much, then it's lacking. Also, some blues could be more cyan. I'll be on vacation starting next weekend, so I'll rewatch it then and make screencaps of the most problematic shots I've seen.

Honestly, Beber, I'm done.

I have too many other projects to work on and if the parts using the pics are inconstant (mind you the BD is inconsistent) well it's never going to be what you want and I just don't want to waste anymore time on it. Sorry.
