Just found this, calls itself FULL SCREEN DVD: https://www.ebay.de/itm/282876626564?ul_noapp=true

Think this is legit?

It "could"... I'd read the back cover to discover if it's really fullscreen - or, better, get few screenshots.

Do hope Bill Pope get rid of the green tint in the remaster.

You guys still need to understand that green was indeed there on the original theatrical prints. Just not as bad as what we have on the BD.

On the set scenes yes, but it's not at all present in the outdoor shots.

Yesterday I've wanted to work to this project again; as usual, a lot of tests, trials&errors, and finally I've decided to stop to work on the last script, and start from scratch, because I've noted that sometimes some parts of the image were lost - and, as you know, "because every pixel counts", I can't leave those parts out... also, working to a new script, now I've improved further the resolution, and color blending between sources, and added the unmissable grain plate! Big Grin

At the end, to get what I want (three sources overlaid, where the image should touch the border in the vertical or the horizontal direction), there are the following possibilities, starting with those that happen more frequently:
  • A: vertical touch - no top and bottom borders
  • B: horizontal touch - no left and side borders
  • C: vertical touch, with top left corner removed, due to residual TV logo still noticeable
  • D: horizontal touch, when B does not align well
I'll start rendering A, with expanded width, so I can check if the image is over the borders; in those cases, B will be used; if in both cases the alignment is bad, D will be used; C must be used when logo will still be noticeable - luckily it does not happens frequently, and I noted all the instances up to around frame 100000, so most of the work has done.
