From the Thai DVD.

Might be censored (in the hotel scene) like the R6 Chinese DVD master. Thailand censors go nuts with trimming love making stuff, blurring out guns/smoking, and the strangest of all, bare feat gestures towards people.

Last one I might explain:
In Thailand it is considered extrem rude to point feet at someone. Like when sitting down, do not bend your legs so your sole of the feed direct at somebody. As for Thai the head is the highest point of the body, it is also considered rude to touch someone on their head. So no ruffe of the hair.
And so the feet are the lowest point of the body. They touch the dirty roads... Pointing the feet at someone would be about as flicking the middle finger in US TV at someone.

I hope True Lies is complete, as then it should be easy to just sync the full screen LD audio track to it as they are the same master.

Not much most of it is SD. They have Fight Club, Gladiator, The Terminator, also True Lies (same print as the open matte LD) and weirdly, a 4/3 version of The Abyss which is the TC and not the SE. It looks a bit weird, so I assume it's not a downcut from the SE, but a true master made by Cameron same time as the SE. I need to check out places to see if it is really the TC in Director's Pan & Scan, or just a down cut, but my first impression is that it's real.
All those, of course, only have Thai audio, one need to sync these to current masters to enjoy them all.

That's a shame, I have access to a massive 1.90:1 cinema screen and wanted to try 4:3 stuff (and not just justice league!)

It is more UP-DOWN but a little, but that is nice quality 4:3 DVD and I like it. Anyone know where I can buy it?

Stamper is it any True Lies 4:3 DVD? Pan scan or open matte?

Sadly I cannot find the DVDs to buy. Maybe they are older OOP releases. Only Thai Temrinator DVD I find is the same as the hong kong DVD (widescreen).

The Terminator seems to be opened up top and bottom and cropped a bit left and right.

I checked the love scene, and it seems complete to me? Will need to double check.

True Lies is the full screen director's Pan & Scan LD in DVD resolution. If it's not cut, syncing the LD tracks to it should be a no brainer!

I'd love to do a whole range of 4:3 releases (especially the Cameron films) but I still need to figure out how to get auto-overlay to do that. Every time I try it fails at something.
