Star Wars Tosche station Restored
#1
Video
Hi all im new to this site thanks to spoRv for the invite

Iv been working on this for quite sometime now, this is one of the deleted scenes from Star Wars IV A new hope.. To clean up this footage I exported the Video in to images, took them in Lightroom, did what i could in there and then over to after effects using various Scratch and dust removal effects and a lot of Roto scoping, Theres still a lot to do, its not 100 percent clean yet but its what Iv done so far

this will available for anyone to download once it's finished, that's if you want to make your own edits etc or whatever just give me credit that's all :-)

Cool stuff. Where is this sourced from?

The molesting doesn't look quite fitting imo. Something about it seems off. Perhaps the colors.

Thanks everyone..
the original is sourced from The Bluray..
Regarding the colors, color correction isnt my strong point but im still working on this, its not the final yet

Holy moley. This is outstanding, and the amount of time this must have taken really paid off.

Looks really cool. One tip I could offer is to add some minute film wobble. If you do a motion track on a static shot from a different scene and apply that motion to the clips you are creating, it will help to sell the illusion that still images were filmed. You could also add a little flicker to the image, so the colour values vary slightly frame to frame. It's something I've noticed editing the Superman films, which I guess as a result of being shot on film.
