Do we know which of these would have played theatrically and which were just released on home video?

Two mixes were video exclusive, the Chace fake stereo mix made in 1985, and the Image DVD 2.1 mix which was probably made in 1996.
I think the International mix is actually the mix that was released everywhere. Why, because foreign dubs are based on that one.
The Domestic mix might, or might not has been the one released in the USA. We can't tell, apart that it became the norm on video releases in the USA. That's why we call it domestic. But as it has some variations, it might be an unfinished mix that was somehow used on VHS and LDs, until they found the final mix (International), as they included that one in the 2001 DVD release, the last time we saw the mono mix on commercial disc.
Remember Orion went down, so for the video releases, they probably had trouble locating the final master, and used this safety in place, until MGM finally found it.

There was an italian LD with the mono track. Could someone supply a rip (with video)? I'll sync it.

If cleaning it doesn’t alter the sound.
If it does that will be fine as is until we find a replacement.
French, german and italian dubs are nice additions.

Stamper, I have a very good sound of German here (It's a fanedit by bonetti). It includes the original weapon sounds in DTS 2.0 and DTS HD 5.1 which you hear much better than the original released BD that have tinny and dull.
How can I share with you?
