Panic Room Cinema DTS

No worries, I checked it with MediaInfo and it outputs the same.

Yeah, that release definitely isn't too bad and nicely in open matte, but of course the video bitrate could be higher as almost always with that online streaming fuss, *sigh*.  Rolleyes

As for the audio, comparisons are always interesting. Maybe the R3 disc provides yet another mix, but so far, all the "official" sources seem to be quite similar with a fraction of dB peak and dB low sequence there, but nothing really significant.

Comparison with the Cinema DTS is made more complicated by not knowing for sure which decoded levels are correct now, but that's a topic on its own.

As for the R3: I was mistaken. I have the R1 release. But the are usually the same. But sometime Jap Superbits had Full DTS while the R1 only had half DTS

I just finished synchronizing the Cinema DTS track on the open matte.
I had the French Cinema DTS CD, and I was very kindly sent the Original DTS CD, thanks to Soundman!
So I synchronized the 2 tracks.
I still don't know how I'm going to deliver this.
For the moment I have accelerated the Web DL to 24fps (the track of the Web DL accelerated to 48048 Hz for synchronization).
I left the DTS files intact, in flac 44100 hz.
I can deliver in DTS-HD MA, slowdown audio to 24 / 1.001 and change the sample rate to 48000 on izotope.
For now, I think to settle for flac 44100 with 24fps video. If you are interested, let me knowWink

I have Panic.Room.2002.Open.Matte.1080p.WEB-DL.DDP.5.1.H264-m3th version so which audio would sync to that?

Thanks.

I'd be interested in both French and English cinema DTS tracks, but rather 23.976 than 24fps, so that I could mux these with the others on the same video. DTS HDMA would be great. Worst case scenario, I could deal with FLAC at 24fps and reencode them in WAV at 23.976.

I too would love the DTS track and the video. Is "Panic.Room.2002.Open.Matte.1080p.WEB-DL.DDP.5.1.H264-m3th" the best version out there? How does that compare to the DVD in terms of colour?

Ok, so I'm going to make a 23.976 / DTS-HD MA / 48000 version for the open matte Smile
