4K UHD - Alternative audio thread

To be clear; I'm not suggesting that every movie I'm posting has an inferior audio track on the UHD compared to the BD. I really don't know. I'm just posting the adjustments so that anyone who wants to can sync them and make their own judgement as to which is the better track.

BTW, does anyone know about any attemp to capture/sync the Scarface Signature Collection LD to the fantastic UHD?

This would definetely make it an Ultimate Edition!

Actually speaking of Universal Pictures, after a decade long history of lousy picture quality on catalog BD, they have redeemed themselves with an array of fantastic looking catalog UHD with Backdraft, Field Of Dreams, Casino, Scarface.

Considering Universal had some of the best track records of audio on LD, it would be fantastic if some of the great folks here would attempt to capture and sync the original LD audio for these movies.

Hulk (2003), Shaun of the Dead (2004) and American Gangster (2007) are also some other fantastic remasters of catalog by Univesal, but their original audio is on BD. So I intend to update the list shortly with them and make the original audio available for those who want them.

I've to disagree. Any Marvel/Disney/Star Wars movie released after Age of Ultron got the Dynamic Nerf. The UHD actually are better do to Atmos. But that's about it

Oh I'm not suggesting that any of the BD tracks that I've provided sync timings for are superior to the UHD audio. I don't even have a surround set up to be able to judge these things. I'm just helping people sync the tracks if they want to so that they can make their own comparisons and their own choice. Feedback as to which BD tracks are actually better/worse would be very much appreciated.

When you say ‘remix’ do you mean the 5.1 Blu-Ray, 7.1 UHD or both?
