Skyfall Open Matte (aka IMAX Version v1.4)
Project Info
Pretty simple setup on this one. This is a combination of a couple HDTV broadcast/Web-DL of Skyfall (SF) in order to create the best possible version. That completed version then had the BD overlaid on it for 80%+ of the movie to bump up the resolution. Lots of work done to minimize the compression issues. Some logo removal and frame replacement. Many bright explosion highlights fixed. No color work needed for this one.
Married the resulting video with the DTS-HD MA from the BD
Video:
This is a combination of a couple HDTV broadcasts and Web-DL of Skyfall (SF) and the BD in order to create the best possible version.
Audio:
1. DTS-HD MA 5.1 (from the Cinema DTS discs)
2. DTS-HD MA 5.1 (from the US BD)
Sync:
Synced to the US (and most likely international) BD
Subs:
1. English (from the US BD)

Nice, and on the same day as the trailer for No Time To Die.

I have a web dl from a Russian online movie theater, downloaded it for your project, if it comes in handy, I will gladly give it to you, it is without logos.

I still have a remux of the old academy screener.
I think the 5.1 on it might be the theatrical mix and not a near field remix.
PM me if you want to check it out.

I might want that. Can you tell me the size and/or bitrate of the file? Thanks.

Does it sound radical different?

Size 4.4 GB bitrate of about 5000 kbps with good encoding settings, received from the site KinoPoisk. Quality can easily be better than any HDTV with transcendental bit rate.

I do believe I have that one. I'm sure it probably came from you originally in some round-about fashion.
Thanks for the help!

In any case, I’m away now, and here I have very poor mobile Internet, I’ll only get home in 10 days. As the opportunity arises, I will send you my source for comparison with yours.

Not radically different PDB, but my impression was the sound was more widespread than the Blu-ray. I could be wrong.
