Didn't know it was released on cd-i, it was also released on video 8 (the little video cassettes camcorders used) as well.
PDB I have the theatrical full-frame LD, if it will help your project I can capture it

There's one on ebay:
🔍https://www.ebay.com/itm/292543009751 Described as a video cd for the CD-i system. Could anything else around that time play VCDs?

Oh yes, a great many things.

If it is just a VCD labeld as CD-i, it should be easy to get the Video from that discs.
I think I own a german Video CD of Apocalypse Now, that is labeled as CD-i Video.

Yeah it seems Philips released these titles, to promote cd-i I would imagine. Much like Pioneer with laserdiscs.
The closest I ever got to cd-i back in the day was the demo unit in Comets, plus the special reserve mail order catalogue lol Thanks given by: dvdmike

Its white vs green book, green book requires a CDi as it has chapters
