Finally finished! It was a bit disappointing to watch literally three-and-a-half hours of the Theatrical Release to see ten minutes of Snyder Cut and some tacked-on finals scenes.

three-and-a-half hours of a two hours Theatrical Release (credits included), I'm trying to figure out the math on that.

It was just a repainted Theatrical Release with extensions for the first three-and-a-half hours. And slo-mo. And Wonder Woman's song every time the camera focused on an Amazon.

It's completely different as many online videos shows. The TC had the Snyder scenes hacked to pieces.

Spoilers. Here's the differences, although a different aspect ratio/music/CG is hardly what I would count as "completely different." Darkseid's role was always assumed because, you know, Thanos. Most changes were nothing more than the removal of Whedon's stuff. Cyborg's added backstory seemed more like an apology to the actor than an attempt to add depth. In fact, Cyborg's origin in the comics would have been far more interesting and appropriate to a plot that used wormholes so heavily.

I guess the "darker" part is what ruined it for me. Wonder Wolverine just doesn't do it for me. And I don't consider the black costume to be better than the original. It's not what I would expect someone rising from the dead to gravitate to unless there were something wrong with them. Mourning his own death, perhaps? I guess that's why I consider the greatest super hero movie ever made to be The Incredibles (2004.)

Could it be that you have watched a fan made theatrical release with some added scenes thinking it was the Snyder Cut because not a lot of people share your opinion...

Why is there an automatic assumption that I hate Snyder? I'm just not a fan of his work. I recently learned that he did 300, too (which I also don't like.) There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the guy, but I can't say because I don't really know him.

It's beginning to occur to me that people don't like the Theatrical Release of Justice League simply because they don't like Whedon. I'm guessing this is because of the difficulties he had with what's-his-Cyborg. I haven't heard Gal Gadot complaining about him, so I'm guessing that he was just under a lot of pressure when it came to getting the Cyborg character right. Which, presumably, is much more difficult to do than your typical non-CG character. But to me, this also means that being a jerk while you're working in Snyder's shadow is more understandable now. Hmmm... Now that I think about it, nearly all of the best directors were reputed to be jerks. Cameron, Spielburg, etc.

My main beef with the Justice League film is the actress from Marvel Black Widow playing Wonder Woman, J.J Jameson now a police commissioner, Ozymandias so down on his luck he's now Bruce Wayne's Butler, and Galactus new design. I also spotted the guy from 300 who screams "This. Is. SPARTA!" in a flashback only he didn't scream Sparta or anything, he just threw bolts of fire. I had no idea Marvel, DC and Dark Horse has gone cross-over and this took me by surprise.

Apart from all this, I loved the movie.
