I haven't found any comments using the word 'Blue' so I'll ask. 
OP mentions using a 2015 cut for a scene because removing 'the ridiculous amount of blue' from the 2017 scene was impossible. Was removing the blue tint known from the 35mm a goal for this project or was the 2017 version over-blued beyond the 35mm? Is the intention of this project to 're-create the 35mm in HD' or something else?

The aim of this project was never to mimic the colours of the 35mm. It was always to bring the grading back to something more neutral and more in line with previous DVDs and Blu-rays before the 2017 scan. It almost seems as though the blanket blue present in the opening scene in the 2017 scan of the film was in error, considering the mis-colouring of the plasma fire from magenta/purple to blue (see screenshots).

I would personally argue that using 30+ year old 35mm scans for colour reference wouldn't be as accurate as we'd like anyways.

What a sweet project! I just watched my 2015 Lionsgate Blu-ray last night and enjoyed it. But I am certain that this project blows it out of the water. All of these audio options are wonderful! This is all very well put together, Kreeep!

If you're interested in either the theatrical or special edition, feel free to PM me Keep in mind, they're both over 60gb each. If file size is an issue, you can always shave off a fair bit by removing whatever audio tracks you don't want. I also made some lighter encodes of each version too.

Saw your other post on the Original Trilogy site but unsure if you still visit there but I'd love to check out your work eventually. I'm always looking for an even better copy of T2 that is available and do regret selling my HD-DVD copy many years back. I also various editions of T2 but still keep the Lionsgate Blu-ray even though I have the 4K.

Just registered, so now I can say thank you for this amazing work, especially the sound curation and editing. Hearing original CDS and Cinema DTS is a privilege. Watched v1.0 Theatrical a while back, and now looking forward to v1.1 (fixed Theatrical).
