Back to the Future Trilogy 4K Laserdisc PCM Syncs
#1
I was wondering if anyone has the 3 BTTF LD PCM (bit perfect) tracks at least synced to the older BDs? I was waiting for someone to sync these tracks to the new 4K releases but haven't heard anything as of yet. The new transfers look gorgeous and a hell of a step up from the BDs from years ago and I really wanted to watch the 4K versions with the original stereo tracks. Thanx.

I don't... but I'd be up for buying/capturing these in the next month or two if nobody else has them easily accessible.

Got hold of supposedly synced LD rips for the BTTF trilogy, but oddly only the first film was properly synced to the UHD.

The second film's audio was 26 secs out (short), but with a gradual shift I couldn't fix.

Thankfully the third film I could fix with a single shift.

Anyone else had this problem with P2? Or have a fixed file?

Finally got round to checking Part 2 properly and the LD stereo is missing audio - it's first noticeable when Jennifer in the Delorean asks about how many kids she has and the doc zaps her. I don't know if it's a bad rip but it's unusable.

Does anyone know if any of the films' older DVDs or Blurays have 5.1 tracks that are based on the 70mm mixes?

"The 70mm prints of “Back to the Future Part II” featured Six-Track Dolby Stereo (“A”-encoded Baby Boom format) and pillarboxed imagery (approximately 1.85:1) blown up from spherical 35mm."
