Sorry. I was just asking that person if he had made Laserdisc captures of some of the films he mentioned in his post. He did say that he was looking for people who are interested in his project and want to donate. That's why I asked.

i'm not really ok with people selling their rips like this, but not sure on what's allowed here. i feel like it's a bit different when you commission someone for specific work (i've paid for 2x domesday LD rips), but this just looks like solid money maker

I didn't realize that user was banned. I try and buy official DVD, Blu-ray and 4K disc releases but laserdisc is a format that's kind of obsolete and not easily available. I'm only interested in the original theatrical audio mix on LD because studios don't seem to bother including those old mixes nowadays. The remastered audio is awful in comparison with LD. That's why you see a lot of people on these forums syncing LD audio to Blu-ray.
There haven't been any LD players and discs available in Fiji for around 20 years now. I can't import a player as well because most sellers don't ship here and there's a huge risk of getting a faulty product. It would be a lot of hassle to return or have it repaired. That's why it's better for me to look for LD rips online.

Actually it says banned on some users. The cross out could just mean he's afk. But plz forgive me for not looking into that .
