When did Disney start censoring the Aladdin track? Was it with the DVD or "Original 5.1" on the SE DVD uncensored.

As far as I know there are no home media releases containing the uncensored lyric. It can only be heard on one of the early soundtrack CDs.

There was a project by zeropc that spliced the uncensored lyric into the LD audio. It was good but not seamless; the difference in the sound field was audible.

You know, now that I've started looking into it, I don't believe Aladdin ever had a theatrical 5.1 mix. None of the 35mm prints that I can find pictures of have a Dolby Digital track and the credits just show Dolby Stereo. My guess is that the non-DEHT 5.1 mix on the DVD was prepared for the 2003 IMAX release that never happened.

My sources indicate a handful of SRD prints were made (under a dozen) and the rest were Dolby A with possibly some SR as well.
