It is. It's not the original Dolby stereo. What I can tell you is it's A noise reduced mess on both tracks. They have done something similarĀ in the past by encoding 4.1 tracks in 5.1 with the Towering Inferno on The US release.

I'm saying that the UHD of The Abyss doesn't have an OG audio (it has at Atmos remix, and a 2.0 downmix of the 5.1 that's on the BD). The BD possibly does have an OG mix (the 4.1 from the 70mm print in a 5.1 container). And that the same goes for True Lies. It's easy to get muddled with so much fiddling going around. |
