Yes, seems so. Which means the UHD has no OG audio, but (like True Lies) the Blu-ray does.

Yes, seems so. Which means the UHD has no OG audio, but (like True Lies) the Blu-ray does.

What clusterfuck!

Hold on just because it's 70 mm doesn't mean it's not original audio. It is. It's not the original Dolby stereo.
What I can tell you is it's A noise reduced mess on both tracks. They have done something similar  in the past by encoding 4.1 tracks in 5.1 with the Towering Inferno on The US release.

I guess I wasn't clear. I'm saying that the UHD of The Abyss doesn't have an OG audio (it has at Atmos remix, and a 2.0 downmix of the 5.1 that's on the BD). The BD possibly does have an OG mix (the 4.1 from the 70mm print in a 5.1 container). And that the same goes for True Lies. It's easy to get muddled with so much fiddling going around.
