May I ask what specific programs are doing the video generation for the missing information? And roughly, how long that takes per scene? Its something I'm looking into, but, if its going to be days of rendering for a 1 minute shot., my equipment may be too slow and underpowered to take on this new tech just quite yet
1. Hybrid made using AviSynth AutoOverlay plugin.
2. Sources: remastered FHD and UHD Blu-ray, new Lionsgate transfer, FS DVD Twister, FS VideoCD and FS LaserDisc Special Edition.
3. Basis - remastered edition.
4. The video is centered relative to the intersection of the remaster and the DVD.
5. Color adjusted by 25% towards Lionsgate transfer.
6. Automatic multi-stage spatial-temporal color correction in HDR was carried out to match the sources to each other.
7. DVD and VideoCD are pre-processed by Topaz Video AI.
8. LaserDisc is used to patch damaged areas of VideoCD.
9. The DVD is additionally cleaned of stains.
10. Empty areas in the corners are filled with the ProPainter neural network.
11. The video is stabilized based on the remastered edition.
In total, the rendering took two weeks at night, on a PC with good performance.
