No I never looked at it, this is combination of the Amazon OM and the OAR FGT. I do recall the FGT having more image on the left and right than the Focus did.

I don't see an FGT release anywhere so not sure the specs on it but it does look like it has a hair more on the left/right but it's also stretched inwards. Looks to be from the same master though. Would be awesome if you could post full res screenshots.

I still can't see why this big budget Hollywood movie hasn't been properly released, yet.
I know all the VOD versions and their quality just don't reflect how this movie COULD look like.
It really needs a new scan.

Besides this, this movie has a special place in my heart. Compared to the book (and others of Boyle's movies)
it's not really good, but back then it initiated my interestes in traveling.
Have been to Phi Phi and other places in Thailand a few times. Just love the movie for this.
