New source remaster I grabbed from PMTP sub on AMZN (after heads up from maksnew to check it), better encode (black bars not part on encode), less DNR and more filmic:

Not perfect but looks so much better then the Hulu/D+ one.

Any improvements you could possibly add PDB.

the d-theater looks a lot better in motion than these shots show, but this new master definitely looks pretty good, has more detail than before, and is a much better encode.

It seems to me that in this case the film itself is in some kind of conservation, because the Hulu/D+ master is actually some kind of semi-pirate, just the best scan of the same film, and so all the problems and traces of time are still there, not to mention the blunders with Arnie's understudies, they are now only visible better.

I doubt that the quality will be better than Amazon, now we just have to wait and hope for the release of 4K WEB with Dolby Vision.

All DSNP transfers including De use the same crap encode, so as maksnew said above, Amzn best until hopefully a 4K WEB comes along.
