Yes, I have, I've watched it successfully from a burned BD25.

What did you use to convert it to BD format, Colson?

I keep the stream BD compatible and the size under the 25/23GB limit of single layer BD-Rs for legacy setups, such as yours. At 17 mb/s its lower then my preferred 20 and above but for a movie with little fast moving action and one soundtrack, the 17 seems to work just fine. 18 to 19 took it over spec. Remember if you read this thread this was meant to be stopgap for better projects so people could final see the IC again. This was long before the Kino BD appeared

Though even after the Kino, this 'stopgap' would seem to be the best option available (it was the botched Kino - that I was planning to buy but after reading the reviews didn't - that made me actively seek out your project) and with little hope of another 'official' release it will remain so until someone who cares comes up with something closer to definitive...which would seem to be possible with just a little tweaking and maybe adding Tim's commentary?

To me, it seems a shame to put so much effort in and then sacrificing quality by choosing a BD25 rather than a BD50 for the final size determinator; I admit to using the former to save most films on, but when the running time goes significantly over 2 hours I usually go for the latter. Anyway, thanks for your explanation and hard work.

I think there are projects that will come that are better then mine and the Kino. It's just a matter of time.

Haven't gotten into MySpleen yet but think I found a source for your project PDB. I hope to watch it this weekend. Thanks for the work!

Thanks rickstamna05!

Didn't know it was anywhere but on MS.

Someone (not sure if I can say who) gave me a copy of the Spanish DVD which was the '98 DVD/LD master cut down to the IC. That had the brick wall shot even though the US LD didn't. So I knew it was possibly part of the IC but in the end I was using the LD as the standard so out it went.

If I do a version 2 (and it looks like the Kino will need work) I'll make sure it's back in. I did the original project in sort of a rush to see if I could complete a project in a short time frame so there are a few little things in my project I'd like to fix also.

That sir, made my day because it reminds me that I first watched this movie with my dad on VHS years ago in very much the same way. One day when he is old enough, I'll do the same for my son. Cheers!

Also on note, there was a TV airing of OUATITW with the real Leone cut too, alas it's not online yet, though I was able to save a german version of the same from youtube. No rising platform scene of course.

Didn't someone do a OUATITW project to fix that and the ending music? Where there other issues?

In my Spanish DVD doesn't appear the shot of the brick wall exploding, what spanish dvd do you have?

Can you please share some info about that project?
I can't find it. There is no update over OT for a long time, not even for Once Upon a Time in the West.

We had to take a temporary hiatus from the preservation but will be picking up where we left off shortly.

Sample. It was a basic correction performed in the early stages.
