[request] Hellboy Theatrical Cut

I googled "hellboy theatrical blu ray" and the first search result was this:

It appears that in 2011 there was a blu-ray released in the US that contained both the theatrical and directors cuts of the movie on one disc but I haven't found this available for purchase ANYWHERE!
HOWEVER, this is obviously NOT the source of the video that I pointed you towards, as the file was uploaded December 17 of 2008 (!!!)

So I started looking around the internet trying to figure out just where the hell this came from. After about an hour I finally found the source. According to this Brazilian forum post (google translated to English): http://translate.google.com/translate?hl...t6118.html
when Sony released this movie in Brazil the first time they f*cked up, LOL. The disc and cover both say director's cut BUT the footage on the disc was actually the theatrical version. There are pictures there, including audio options, where you can see the runtime of the actual movie when playing AND you can see the option for the English 5.1 TrueHD audio track which is not present on ANY other releases as they use 5.1 PCM instead. So, IMO that is the source of the video

What's even funnier is that the second release of the movie in Brazil is actually the director's cut BUT it doesn't say that on the disc, LOL

I found the Blu-ray on a Polish site, which indicates a 122-minute runtime (theatrical cut then?), if anyone's interested :3

They also had "Troy" and "Kingdom of Heaven" (the theatrical cuts, which I bought 2 years ago).

Don't (always) trust the cover data... I have the Italian BD, where it's stated 122min, while it's the 132min, so...

Anyone still have this? I had a hard drive die with most of my custom discs and iso files on. This is one I'd like to get back. The torrent on rutracker looks inactive.

According to Rewind, the Polish Sony BD and the locked Russian one are of the theatrical cut. Going by the fact that both list English Dolby TrueHD and Portuguese Dolby Digital 5.1, they're probably the same as the 1st Brazilian BD release.

Cheers for that. Since I'm in China, trying to get legit discs is a real chore. I thought it worth checking to see if I could get the Russian one from Taobao, but they didn't have it. They do have the Chinese bluray though, listed as 122 minutes, regions ABC, and only the equivalent of $6. I'm going to order it!

That could be the Hong Kong BD, which usually share the same specs as Japanese and US discs.

Do the specs on this supposed Chinese BD say Dolby TrueHD for English audio? If it says PCM then it could be the DC, though the cover could be correct with the RT and DD TrueHD listing but the disc may actually be the wrong one simluar to the Brazillian fiasco.

I'm pretty confident it's a mainland disc. It's ordered anyway, so I'll update when I have it and let you know.
