Is anyone able to get the monaural soundtrack from the UHD disk of Singin in the Rain?

Have been interested in fan edits, fan extended editions, and fan preservations of bonus material for quite a long time. Well over 15 years. Figured on finally making an account here instead of lurking on the main site.

I have long been a lurker here and thought I would finally introduce myself. I'm a huge fan of the man projects assembled here. You all are doing incredible work, and I hope to contribute some work one day, as well. As physical media becomes more important every day, and studios abandon restorations of films, it's a great comfort to know there are so many lovers of film who are picking up the slack and assembling great restorations.

Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello! Like everyone here I'm a film lover through and through and appreciate this community and the great work you all are doing purely out of love for movies.

I did a fan remaster a few months ago using the Blu-ray as the new video source. But since a special person (you know who you are ) had shared a 35mm scan of the movie, I thought "Why not make sort of 35mm trailer out of it." ... So I've synced the print to the BD and then simply replaced it and voila a 35mm fan remaster.
Okay, it's not perfect for two reasons...
1. The movie title is the final ones from the movie itself. Only the animation was done by me
2. The "I'm a pig" scene was source from the SD trailer found on the DVD.

The credit cards and MPAA card have been created from scratch and matched to the original.

I still think both versions turned out nicely. It would be nice to get my hands on the actual 35mm print of the trailer to insert the "I'm a pig" shot in higher quality. Maybe one day this may happen.

When it comes to extracting, converting and injecting HDR10+ or Dolby Vision metadata into a static HDR10 video, I wouldn't have a clue. Is there a GUI-friendly method of doing it these days? If so, is it even a good idea? Would the results remain accurate?

The new 4K release of Heat has quite dark day-time scenes. I haven't looked into it yet, but there is a 2160p WEB-DL from Amazon available with HDR10+. Was wondering whether it might improve things if that metadata could be pinched and injected into the 4K disc.

Does anyone happen to have the HDTV cap of Bram Stoker's Dracula? The one that was the master for the Superbit DVD. Many thanks in advance

I'm thinking about starting an HD project. Up until now I've pretty much worked with Womble MPEG Video Wizard or complicated avisynth scripts.

I was thinking about Premier, but my PC is pretty out of date so I'd need an old version. I saw someone recommending VSDC Free Video Editor as a preference for older PCs.

Anyone familiar with it and have an opinion? I'm open to other suggestions. My PC is a cobbled together thing still running Win7.

The movie was released numerous times on Blu-ray and also on 4K Blu-ray. But the full trailer never got a proper treatment. Up to this day the trailer is only available in SD Letterboxed. The best version of it can be found on the DVD. The version used on the Blu-ray releases is unwatchable.

So I ventured out and try to restore it and it worked without flaws. A 100% re-creation of the full trailer

As usual the titles and credit cards have been re-created from scratched and matched the original. The opening Cannon logo wasn't included in any of the HD/4K releases. I borrowed it from the 1986 movie "Invaders from Mars" as it's also in scope.
