I am planning on doing a regrade of the 4K release of The Wizard of Oz soon. Before I can though, I would like to acquire a copy of the Criterion laserdisc. In addition, I will replace the iconic sepia to color shot at the beginning because the UHD was redone digitally.

Hi all, I have access to the UK DCP from today from WB, I need to know if there any any changes to the audio I need to look for as I have only seen the film with original audio for years now.

I've struggled with trying to get the frozen grain and many other issues in The Godfather UHD to be more visible for examples to put in a review. It doesn't really show in screencaps of the 1080p BD where they're harder to see and when I make clips and zoom in it's not as horridly obvious as it is on my OLED. I've tried recording off my screen but only get occasional flashes to kind of being able to see it. Plus my phone camera changes the image which doesn't help.

Has anyone had experience in trying to make deeply rooted issues like this stand out more for argument's sake?

I recently saw a print of Barry Lyndon and wondered what the print date was. My guess was that it was from the 1999/2000 era of prints made around EWS and Kubrick's death.

The info I got was that it was stamped Agfa-Gevaert between sprockets and had blue edges. So I guess it's from sometime in the 90's or so then?
