Amazon open matte Web-DLs of Reloaded and Revelations have appeared in the last few days and from a quick look they seem a bit dark too me. This is the first time I've seen OM versions at this quality though. Anyone else checked them out?

Someone recommended this forum for audios that are missing on BluRay and UHD. I was impressed with some of the work done and could not resist to make a registration and be a user here.

Here's a list of best audios I found for films I like. This is inspired by blah-ray.blogspot.com, I agree with many conclusions by Moshrom, but I can only give short conclusions based on quick comparing. 

I may or may not have captured these tracks, but you can ask me if you're interested. My LD track capture is not bit-perfect and may have glitches, but I'm sure it sounds good. For DVDs, I feel the version with best audio often has the best image too, no need to sync them to another release.

For some old tracks whose detail became muffled (but actually not lacking), I think restoration (even at its best, no strange EQ applied) often makes them sound worse. Because the original one may have a fuller vocal/timbre, a more confortable soundstage, and thus more musical and emotional.

I also found some new films with a better audio, often the optional 2.0 track in DVD/BD release, and they (if not a downmix) may sound better than 5.1 track. (I strongly recommend to watch all of them, they're the best films with best made audios in recent years.)

I've been thinking about why people (especially reviewers and specialists) always makes wrong choices: they only care about quality of "image" and "sound". But sound is not all about sound, it includes how voices are projected (from every object), how they're recorded (and being listened to), and even the "desire" (for listening)  itself. A great orignal track often involves all of these, media now has full self reflexivity, and we have full conscious of what we're listening to. That's why flaws will not decrease (even add to) our listening experiences, as long as real informations are well kept.

L'Atalante (1934)
The best version of this film is a VHS recording of the 1990 restoration. Or you can find Artificial Eye DVD, better than the Criterion and Gaumont Bluray.

Mr. Hulot's Holiday (1953) & Playtime (1967)
For Mr. Hulot's Holiday, everything in the Theatrical Cut seems more original.
For Playtime, The Criterion 2001 DVD is the only correct version for me, though not good enough.

Ugetsu (1953)
The original audio in Criterion Laserdisc [CC1317L] (captured), and restoration in Kadokawa BD, both sound good and well balanced. I prefer the original one.

Johnny Guitar (1954)
Arthaus DVD track is a suprising find, should be original mono track and sounds great to me. It's remixed (to stereo?) in almost all other versions.

The Night of the Hunter (1955)
MGM R1 is a bit tricky, it's less detailed than it seems. Laserdisc [ML101107] is better, which has more bass, more air, fuller vocal.

Anatomy of a Murder (1959)
RCA/Columbia Laserdisc [30701] analog, I captured this too.

Hiroshima mon amour (1959)
Found a Filmax R2 DVD, it sounds amazing.

Psycho‎ (1960)
The mono track in Warner DVD is more original than mono track in Bluray. (It sounds similar with the uncut German TV version.)

Ohayo (1959) & Late Autumn (1960)
The tracks restored by Shochiku is good but a little artificial, the tracks in old Shochiku Laserdiscs have a little more body and sound more natural (dynamic is less compressed!).

Pickpocket (1959) & Au hasard Balthazar‎ (1966)
The old IVC DVDs have tracks better than latter DVDs/Blurays, though not perfect.

Naked Childhood (1968)
MOC DVD is better than the Criterion DVD and Gaumont Bluray.

2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
The track in Warner 1999 DVD is great to me, although it's very lossy (64kbps per channel). I don't have the MGM 1998 DVD.

This Hong Kong Blu-ray has the best quality audio for the short films, being in 24-bit 96 kHz Hi-Res Audio.

They may be upmixes but they still sound like upgrades, especially since their Dolby Digital cores are most likely Dolby Digital EX 6.1 just like the Hong Kong DVDs here:

There are cases of TrueHD 5.1 tracks having 6.1 EX cores such as Top Gun and the Hong Kong Blu-ray of Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie (with the latter being Hi-Res Audio just like this Blu-ray).
Regardless, they would definitely have better audio than the 16-bit UK Blu-ray or the 24-bit US Blu-ray even if they have identical sources.

Unfortunately, these Hong Kong Blu-rays are now hard to find since they are not on YesAsia and I could not find them on eBay Hong Kong.

I've tried multiple ways to export my 5.1 audio from a video clip from Premiere but it seems like whatever I do I cannot get it to recognize each channel when I re-import it to check.

I have DVD PAL ISO from torrent, but what is release???  So nice colors? Any ideas?

Possible this DVD PAL is made from NTSC but not sure

Suspiria was released in the US by Fox (through sub-division International Classics) in a trimmed down R-rated version with alternate credits, and possibly some other alternate footage that hasn't been documented yet. I am aware that the awesome Synapse BD and UHD have the US credits (complete with International Classics logo) as a bonus, but I don't think the full R-rated US version has ever been made available on video. This version has only ever aired on TV, with the last US airing being around 2012 (?) 

A Canadian channel called Hollywood Suite have Suspiria in HD and appears to be the US version. It's also on the Hollywood Suite channel on Amazon Prime Video Canada

Unfortunately, I don't have access to Canadian Prime and they're known to block VPNs anyway. If anyone from Canada uses Prime Video and can check to see which version of Suspiria it is and if it's in HD, that would be great!

I was looking to see if anyone had rips of older films shown on television. Mostly some of the ones I am thinking of had alternate footage where something had to be edited for television or different soundtracks. Some that come to mind are Caddyshack, National Lampoon's Vacation, Porky's, Police Academy 1 & 2, The Naked Gun, & Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

Everywhere I've seen this film's home video releases discussed, it's always mentioned that the correct audio sync for the original English mono audio is non-existent on modern digital releases. In addition to that, the only "uncut" modern release is the German BD. But I can't find any online topics where someone has captured the old LD and made a proper audio sync to the uncut BD.

I used the search function here and elsewhere, and it seems like there are hardly any topics relating to this film specifically at all. If I've missed something, I would appreciate being pointed in the right direction. But if my assumption is accurate that no project for this has been attempted yet, why is that? People have talked about this issue for years from what I've seen, but seemingly nobody has bothered syncing an LD capture yet.

Again, if there in fact is an LD capture floating around somewhere that I have just passed over by accident, please point me to where I can look for that. And if one has not been shared online yet, this thread is obviously a request for that. I would greatly appreciate it if anybody could help me out.
