| Removal of Film Gate Weave |

I’ve been working on Bluray/DVD hybrids for several years now. The biggest stumbling block for me has been trying to remove the film gate weave out of the dvd footage.
I use DaVinci Resolve for my edits. I’ve tried all the stabilizations offered with the software, but without film sprocket information, it seems impossible to remove the gate weave except for frame by frame adjustments. Which I have done. It’s no fun, haha.
Does anybody have any software/procedure suggestions?

This includes two versions of the movie, which contains two versions of reel 2, and both include audio for the 1997 Universal logo from the trailers reel of the Cinema DTS disc of Transformers (2007) at the beginning, just to make sure you didn't think your receiver was broken.

Hiya
Getting back into remuxing and such, and thought I'd work a bit on getting more original audio for some of my 4k's.

Resynced all tracks (mono, 5.1, commentary, audience participation) from the 2000 DVD to the 2025 UHD. UK cut (only one on the UHD).
I personally prefer the mono of the UHD but it's good to have options. The audience participation track was dropped from later releases.
FLAC. PM.

I resynced the 5.1 isolated score (actually 5.0, as LFE is empty) from the director's cut BD to the theatrical cut. It largely fits very well, but there is one/two fadeovers you might notice, and the end credits music is a bit longer.
Synced to the theatrical cut UHD (fits BD too). Available as 5.1 FLAC and 5.0 DTS-HD MA. PM.
