Music Detect whether 2.0 Audio is Dual Mono or Stereo
Posted by: GjRedo - 2023-12-07, 10:43 PM - Forum: Audio and video editing - Replies (2)

2.0 Stereo Mix. Both L & R channel will contain different information & it will be discreet enough. For example - Dialouge, environmental sound. If the spectrogram of L & R channel is 1:1, I conclude it's a Dual Mono audio. That's my understanding so far.

But if it's not 1:1 & I couldn't hear any differance in the not identical part of L & R channels, then I am not sure? Specially if the BD advertises as a Mono 2.0 & the Spectro is not identical.
Here is an example - https://slow.pics/c/Y3vp9qJc . Here is an example of spectro of an Audio advertsied as Stereo Mix - https://slow.pics/c/iTilfeLX

Please correct me if my understanding is wrong & how you guys detect whether it's a Dual Mono or actual stereo. Thanks.

Terminator 1 MGM DVD Mono to 2012 BD
Posted by: Red41804 - 2023-12-06, 12:53 AM - Forum: Requests, proposals, help - Replies (2)

I need help syncing up the T1 MGM DVD Mono, which has several changes that were not found in the other mono mixes, to the 2012 BD, I tried to slightly slow it down in Audacity, but it's still kind of off-sync.

Do I need to convert the ripped video framerate to 23.976 or just properly slow down the audio?

Mono differences:
