The Good News:

The Ugly News:
I sent the following text to ‘Arrow’ this morning…

Hi. Regarding the forth-coming bluray release of ‘For A Few Dollars More’, in May… Arrow’s product information states that an English audio track IS included for the film, but there is NO mention of an original Italian audio track being included. Is this an oversight on Arrow’s part, or is there a reason that the original Italian mono audio is not being included? Any further information would be greatly appreciated.

The reply from ‘Arrow’
Thank you for getting in touch.
Unfortunately, the Fist Full of Dollars is the only title to have an Italian Language.
I hope this helps answer your query.
Kind regards,
Daniel

So, there’s no reason being given for omitting the Italian language track… [Image: neutral_face.png?v=12]
Also, going by the above reply, I presume/assume that this means ‘The Good, The Bad & The Ugly’ Bluray probably won’t have an Italian language track either…Quien Sabe?

Howard the Duck Dolby Stereo track
Posted by: borisanddoris - 2025-03-05, 10:53 PM - Forum: Requests, proposals, help - Replies (1)

I know I know, divisive film but I would really enjoy getting a Dolby Stereo surround track for this one.  It looks like the only way to get that, save having a 35mm print, is to have a LaserDisc or VHS.  The Japanese disc looks to be the only one that released it digitally.  Also, does anyone know if the DVD ever had a stereo release or was it just 5.1?  The film DID have a 70mm release and I'd be curious if it has a good rendition of that mix on there.

Thanks!

Hi Friends

I’ve been enjoying editing my own version of Alien Covenant using all the deleted scenes, extras and online content from it and Prometheus. I wanted to see if anyone else had been doing something similar and stumbled upon this forum and it’s very exciting to find so many others who enjoy similar stuff, but done with far more skills and resources.

Excited to explore the forum more and participate in the community. I’ll be mostly lurking for a while though, to make sure I understand the culture of the board.

Have a great day ☺️

Just wanted to post a brief introduction and say hello!

I've been a huge Star Wars fan my entire life which recently led me to doing research on fan restorations of my favorite franchise (I'm baffled it took me so long to discover these existed). Of course as you learn more and more about these passion projects, it leads you down further rabbit holes.

As I began looking into projects of some of my other favorite franchises (i.e. Highlander), it led me here. And as I browse this site, I've discovered even more projects that intrigue me. The world of fan restorations is huge and I'm glad that I've discovered it.

And it's not just the films themselves (which is satisfactory enough). It's learning about the restoration process itself, the different film stock, what sources still exist, what audio is used, etc.

Looking forward to learning more thru the resources provided!

Hi There,

I'm a massive fan of cinema, and like a lot of people here, I'm looking to obtain versions of movies I love which are no longer officially available on newer higher definition digital formats and in widescreen or open matte.

Lately, I've been really interested in the Highlander film series, and I'm looking to obtain the US Theatrical Cut of Highlander (1986) as well as the European and US Theatrical release versions of Highlander 2.

Best Regards,

MetalGearDmodel.
