  • Hybrid is obtained by combining Blu-ray and Open Matte source with AutoOverlay AviSynth plugin.
  • Open Matte source was obtained by combining 4 sources: WEB-DL (AMC+ VBR, AMC+ CBR, Rakuten TV) and HDTV using ComplexityOverlay filter.
  • For the video sequence from Amazon AMC+ thanks to Sonntag204 (RuTracker),
  • WEB-DL from Rakuten TV (aka ROKU) thats my purchase (it was used to replace broken/darkened frames).
  • Timing corresponds to Blu-ray, original (English) video sequence.
  • Thanks to Yaut (RuTracker) for this work. For help in work thanks to random.next.
There is 4 available variants:
  • Open Matte - improved quality, presented at this thread
  • Custom Open Matte - with blurred corners missing picture and floating frame height (depending on fill) 
  • Custom Open Matte - same as previous, but Extended Fan Cut
  • aka "IMAX" - scenes with full frame cropping have been completely removed and replaced with BD scenes.

Hi there, im new to the forum and am mainly just on a hunt for the lord of the rings hdtv rips. I've watched the open matte hybrid of fellowship and there are a lot of scenes that blew me away (fantasitc work on that one) 

I would love to just see the hdtv rips though, the aspect ratio looks to be 1.78:1 and I am interested in trying my hand at removing the logos. 

What started my hunt? Many years ago I found a low res image of the battle of pellenor feild and its GIGANTIC compared to the theatrical cut. I think it may have just been a promo shot but theres a possibility it may look different in the hdtv version compared to the theatrical release.
