So the BD is terrible, bad master and lossy sound mix that imo sounds worse than the dvd.
Anyone know of a better master or if the DTS mix exists?

My name is Jack and I'm interested in fan restores of films that were gutted by studio interference or missed important parts in international releases. While I have little experience in video editing I have an obsessive desire for research.

Happy to join this community. Makes me happy that so many of us are working tirelessly to keep film alive.

For some reason, I was unable to log back into my account, onlysleeping23 and my attempts to change my password were unsuccessful, none of the random new passwords generated for me seem to be working. I don’t have privileges to do much on this new account, so any admin help is greatly appreciated!

Since the new UHD is the theatrical cut, I thought it would be a good opportunity to seek out the theatrical mix to sync to it.

In the commentary, Fincher describes the sound moving from mono to six track stereo, which is clearly not reflected in the 5.1 mix on disc. We all know Fincher and his sound designer, Ren Klyce do full on near-field remixes for home releases.

Does anybody happen to have access to the Cinema DTS track? Will gladly sync the raw files or whatever is handy.

Hi everyone,

I have a UHD film that might benefit from a quick regrade.
I normally use Resolve for corrections or regrades, but the free version seems to have issues with .265 video which might make it hard to use proxies. I have a LUT that I'd start off with.

Has anyone had experience regrading .265 video?
