Cool, I will add some functionality to the app to do that automatically then.
I'm not sure about the color problem, it could be an issue with avs2bdnxml, or some sort of setting..

yeah, i'm using easyavs2bdnxml v0.3.4.300 also has the color problem
the ass in Aegisub is set to #FFFFFF, but font color in the converted sup file is #FEFEFE, don't know how to solve.
and for now, i only used the two tools, easyavs2bdnxml and sub2bd
update:
and the same ass file, i tried to change the resolution to 3840×2160, the converted sup file font color is #FDFDFD, not #FEFEFE.
if the resolution is 1920×1080, the converted sup file font color is #FEFEFE.
and you can try a ass file, set the font color #FFFFFF, converted to sup using sub2bd, to see if the results are the same as mine.

Version 0.4 is now available for download on the first post. I added a fix for the stalling out problem by creating a temp file with the extra line breaks at the beginning and end. I also noticed looking at the Avs2bdxml parameters there were a few options for various compatibility and optimizations that I wasn't using. It might be worth trying these out to see if they help with those pesky timing issues.

i found a weird thing, ass to sup, ass font color is set to #FFFFFF, the sup font color is #FEFEFE, different, but when i try to encode the sup file into video, make sup into the part of picture, the font color in encoded video is #FFFFFF, it turned back, why this happen?

You are checking the colors with video player software and capture tools correct? There's a lot of room for variations there, so its hard to say unless you figure out exactly whats in the .sup file.

Its not sub2bd that is causing the problem this time. It seems to be a limitation of avs2bdnxml and VSfilter.dll. Since I was already making a copy of the file to add the line breaks, I just went ahead and renamed the temp file and placed in your Windows temp directory for processing. This way Avisynth never sees the Chinese characters at all, only the sanitized temporary file. As long as your Windows username doesn't have double byte characters it should work OK. I've updated the version on the first post to 0.5.

yeah, i used easyavs2bdnxml in the past, and it's ok with chinese named folder and filename, so i wish sub2bd could work too.
