		I'm probably overthinking it
The 2.39:1 anamorphic footage will be kept the same and the IMAX footage will probably fit into 16x9?
I'm just not sure because I haven't been able to find details on the specifics.

It really depends how it was filmed. IMDB lists a variety of stuff, like ARRI Alexa and even GoPro. Some of that might be able to record in a high enough aspect ratio but Im too lazy to research each single one.

It must have been a 2.39:1 shifting to 1.43:1 in film IMAX projections, and 2.39:1 shifting to 1.90:1 in digital IMAX. I don't like the idea to switch from 2.39:1 to 1.43:1 in the home video realm, since nobody has an IMAX screen at home. Plus, as IMAX stands for "image maximum" and not "framing maximum", the Nolan way is a better fit to me, since we all have 16/9 displays at home and the IMAX feeling requires to fill the screen. Having black bars top/bottom, then left/right all the way through would be counterproductive for that feeling. But that would be nice to have the 1.43:1 sequences in a bonus section.

I would love it if they released it with stuff opening up to the full aspect ratio. I watch on a PC so I can just crop it during playback, no problemo, if I want to. But granted, streaming services may not have that option in their apps and on Blu Rays one is constrained by the available standard resolutions.

		Have you guys watched the WandaVision, episodes 1, 2, 3, 4 ?
I'm trying to understand what's problem here with shifting of the aspect ratio...
Everything works as intended, we as consumers can't ask for more.
