Okay. I rotated each between -.22 and -.25 degrees to come closer to squaring vertically and horizontally, then I cropped each down as best as I could to the end caps of the vert and horz lines. No end results were perfectly square, but the first was close. I'll post just the XxY pixels numbers from these three almost-square crop-downs. Of course all the edges are fuzzy so the following is my best attempt to land as close to being in the middle of the fuzz for each end cap as possible, so each value ahead should be thought of as maybe +/- a pixel or two.

Top image's compass lines: 269x264
Middle: 272x262
Bottom (4k): 559x535

Here's a zip with my three end results that got me those numbers...

@WXM. Okay, so the top one is my work in progress. The other 2 are 35mm scans that I felt were too squeezed to the naked eye already. So I guess I'm fine at 2.40:1 squishing (1920x800), it's close enough to the naked eye. Thanks.

You're welcome. It was actually fun doing that, I like doing that kind of stuff. Smile

Judging by the screenshots, the colors are perfect. We're really looking forward to your pie.
Then we can try combining it with the Pan and Scan version to get an open screen. 🤪🤪🤪

I'm at 31'36". I revisited the daytime scenes and I'm currently in the truck and bike chase. It's gonna be hard and most likely impossible to have a consistent looking sky as it's quite obvious it wasn't all shot the same day with the same weather conditions. I guess I'll ignore the sky and try my best at matching the rest shot after shot.
