It's pretty funny that if they had done the effects for theatrical release at the time, it would still probably have used a 2k DI for the effects and we'd be talking about the film being some mash up of 4k scans and 2k effects.
Going back and redoing the effects in 4k is pretty crazy and could be the first time anyone has done that for a home release.
