I might be mistaken but the version of Die Hard currently screening on Film4HD in the UK looks like it’s the 4K remaster! Looks different from the BD!

The 2.0 surround track on the non-anamorphic DVD is also a remix, most likely a fold-down of the 5.1 remix.

TCM in France is currently showing the same remaster as this Netflix: darker, warmer, more colorfull. So I guess TV channels have this one now.

I got the non-anamorphic DVD for one buck, I really love the color timing.
Since the movie transfered to 16/9, it has never looked like it was before.
A compare with the 4K could be cool.

I've never gotten the original 1-3 DVDs but they should all be straight ports of the THX LD remasters. With the SE DVDs 1 and 2 were slightly massaged and manipulated in their color and overall appearance. Ironically the shots of the 4K DH1 most closely resemble the original widescreen non-THX LD.
