You are great, thanks again! Took a look, and, apart few words missing here and there, you did a great job, as usual! I'm thinking to ask you to do the commentary transcription, too, but you'll throw me in the outer space...
I have two new interesting things: the original film synopsis from the web site www.thearrival.com, and linear notes from the laserdisc booklet; I want to add them to the disc, but don't know in which way... I could convert them to images, but as I'm not aware how to do galleries, they will be displayed for a given time each... also, this could be used with the soundtracks... OR... I can convert them to audio - a long, hard, pain in the... neck work, but it's very rewarding!
Guys, what do you think?

Here you are the contents ready to be translated, with the needed languages:

English, French, German and Spanish subs for the movie - needed for the replacements:
https://www.sendspace.com/file/sp6era
http://hastebin.com/raw/ijepizinul
needs French translation; note that some dialog lines are EXACTLY the same of the making of, so you are adviced to download that file as well!
and these are the next contents which will be transcripted in the next days - will be done in the following order:
- behind the scenes 1 - 5m17s
- behind the scenes 2 - 7m17s
- documentary - 26m (to be captured)
- alternate ending - 3m (to be captured)
The actual "team" is composed by:
allegedly - English transcription from dialog, and SRT sync
jedeitor - Spanish translations
thegroovologist - for some German translations
myself - Italian translations
we still need French and German translators!
If you need further info, don't hesitate to post in this thread.
Thanks in advance!!!

Hopefully that won't be an issue, time wise of course. I guess you could convert those images to video like some sort of a slideshow and add it as yet another chapter on the BD?
Started work on TASFV4.ac3..
SRT: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/84366293/TASFV4.srt
It should be done during the day.

Ok here's a small update:
I haven't had much time to work on it today, but I've done roughly ~20 lines since (SRT link updated), but much of the dialogue is kinda "quiet" so I can't really make out the words. Could any native speaker give it a listen and write a rough transcription? It's the TASFV4.ac3 file.
I can make the SRT from that very easily by filling out the words that I can't make out.
Cheers!

I agree; some dialogs are almost "hidden" by the higher volume of music or production noises... hope someone will come in and help a bit... I think Charlie Sheen, right at the beginning, is just whispering to himself, trying to remember his part IMHO.

Thanks a lot, you are great!!!
For the others: the DVD Featurette is what I called Behind the scenes 2 (filename TASFV5)... OK, you are all right, next time I will rename files and extras to have all the same names!

UPDATE: http://fanres.com/showthread.php?tid=130
thegroovologist provided some German translations - and told me the actual titles of the extra materials present on the DVD; I've decided from now on to update only the first post in this thread, just to avoid more confusion... I'll write a big UPDATE as in this post, plus the link to the first post.
