AVP: Alien Vs Predator and The Chronicles of Riddick (open matte) are ready; just few things to sort out, and they will be released in the next few days.
I'm thinking to replace all the covers with something more minimalistic, like the Criterion ones... opinions?

The Chronicles of Riddick (2004) (open matte) has been released.
The new course in the cover desing has started with it, result is not bad at all IMHO; I've finished Alien: Resurrection and then I'll work on Alien, Aliens, Alien3; AVP - Alien Vs. Predator would be made first, though, as it should be release soon - actually, I'm working on it right now, and it will be ready in few hours. Then, all the others would get a new cover.

For the next projects, I think to put color correction apart for the moment, and take the opportunity to explore more the open matte topic... what do you think, guys?

 Well, I followed my own decision, and next projects would be all open matte: Harry Potter saga (probably all films) Pirates of the Caribbean saga (surelly the first three films) just to let you know!

Maybe doing AvP: Requiem to round out the "Alien" package would be cool OR doing the 2 Predator films and add the 2 AvP films to make a four pack?

AvP Requiem: did before, just adjusted the levels because many told too details were lost in the dark... don't know if it's right, now that I have a better TV set, calibrated, the original BD seems OK; at the time, there were three uncut shots omitted, but in the new edition they were reinstated; as the colors on DVD are the same, I don't see the point to make it, unless a new color reference would pop out from nowhere!
Predator: it is much needed indeed... Predator 2: it seems it's in need of a restoration... look here for example http://caps-a-holic.com/c.php?go=1&a=0&d...72&i=7&l=0 (but also all the other screenshots): the UK DVD has a lot bigger frames, and more details too! When the magenta blanket would be lifted, colors should be better, too... don't know if the remastered US (or the previous US) BD is any better; further investigations are needed. I guess Predators is right.

That Predator 2 Bluray looks zoomed in which sucks. I have the US DVD and Bluray so maybe I'll have to take a few screenshots from each.
