I second the PCM from the laserdisc! Quite frankly pisses all over the BD audio. Listened to them both just last week and I can tell you nothing is gonna blow your speakers quicker than that helicopter at the end grinding off the pole then exploding! It’s fantastic.

those 2.0 LD Pro Logic Mixes are insane aren't they? I prefer the 2.0 track (I converted the DD 192 kbps 2.0 track to wav and it gets rid of the Dialnorm) from the Phantom Menace DVD and i like it more than the 5.1 track (whether DD or DTS HD)!!

Sorry, if I'm being harsh but repeating the same thing over and over again in various threads begins to take on the air of spam. If you want to get into more of what DD/AC3 tracks are worth converting and what you are advocating please start a new thread of your own where people can discuss it. If there is value in what you are saying then it's worthy of its own topic.

DH3 is done. Thanks again to Beber for the 35mm pics.

Also thanks to Zoidberg who gave me a copy of the AC-3 from the LD. So the final loadout is the LD's AC-3, PCM and the DTS-HD MA 5.1 from the BD.

If you saw the test file months ago, this is pretty much the same video only with a tiny bit of smoothing over the colors in the first quarter of the film.

It's uploading now. Participating members (aka no newbies) can PM me if they want a copy. I'll keep it posted for a week or two.
