A few years ago, I watched Requiem for a Dream on Netflix, and it was 4:3 open matte in HD. I don't know if they've since changed the transfer. Maybe someone can check?

CONFIRMED! The Willy Wonka FS 2005 DVD is indeed open-matte! But it's kind of an unusual one - like the Harry Potter films, there are cases the top and bottom of the frame is opened up, but it appears that parts of the side you see in the widescreen version is chopped off. What do you reckon?

I've also had the chance to look at The Flintstones VHS. It appears to be a BTTF-type deal where most shots are open-matte except for optical/SFX shots which are pan-&-scan.

theterminatorfans website shared full frame Super35 images from Terminator 2's 3D master. Colour and contrast are horribly washed out and de-grained. But You see the full 4:3 image without any cropping, unlike the Pal 4L3 DVD which was selectively framed.

You can add Blue Steel R1 DVD (side B is open matte)
Payback R2 FR DVD (side B is open matte)

Alien Nation - shot on Super35 and framed at 2.35:1 for DVD / BD but the R6 DVD from China is open matte 1.85:1 (presumably)
