The only reason I was asking was ‘cause a few months ago I was listening to a ripped file I did of that DVD and a video comparison video i did where the audio was sourced from the LD and I noticed that the ripped DVD file sounded a bit crisper. I might have to do further comparisons since I may have been fooled by compression but it was just something I noticed.

well at the end of the day it still has botched music and that flashback scene is pretty bad compared with the rest of the film so really this is about consistency because for the most part it's really good, so it's more about bringing up to scratch the poorer areas of that mix and making something better or at least not doing a 5.1 totally revisionist remix. I might revise a couple of things or add in. but it will completely carry the spirit of the original. That is the plan.

Ripping the Image DVD was only for those who were interested in using it for anything. It doesn’t have to be for this project.

My tests have been fairly good so far... So it's an improvement on the DVD mix anyway.
Choose a preview Section
Terminator arrival
Reese Arrival
Gunstore
It will take a bit longer than I thought as these things always do but it will be worth it I feel.

Not too bad. Pretty clean actually.
