Sorry to bump this thread, but I really want to rewatch this thing in Open Matte and the Russian hybrid is not really cutting it.
No new sources have emerged this past years so I assuming this is the closest version we'll have of an official blu-ray compliant release.
Is this still recoverable from the dark pit? Smile
