Hi,
Did you have to resynch the true HD 5.1, from the original bluray, to fit the remastered? and what difference is there between the Dolby true HD from the original bluray, and the dts track form the 2005 Dvd... is it any better?

I can't do anything about the teal color grading, but to me it's the lesser 2 evils.

DTS is just a codec, it doesn't affect a mix other than through compression artifacts. TrueHD is lossless. If the DTS sounds better, it's because it's a better mix.

(The LD, 1997 DVD, 2005 DVD, or 2009 Blu-Ray?)

 i have the 2005 dvd, but it's been so long since i watched it than i completely forgot it got both 5.1 track: Dts and Dobly digital.. At that time, i had just a dolby digital amp (and no dts), so i never listened to the Dts track...  (then i bought the bluray, and never looked back to this 2005 edition...)Might be cool to add that track to the options... Did you have a lot of trouble to synch it? i never ever synched a track so i don't know if i'll be able to do it, and my dvd is pal, so i'll have to corect the pal speed up first..

Speaking of, i ordered recently the 1997 region 1 dvd, because i read that the 5.1 dolby digital track on it, is the same mix as the LD but encoded in 5.1... So even if it's a lossy track it might be another good option, and one more track to add... Can't wait to compare it the other tracks, when i'll received that dvd... Thanks given by: weegee2392

The point of Batman 1989's original sound design is to add Gotham's 1940's look with modern tech slaped on to it. Batman is supposed to be the one with the modren technology at his use, meanwhile the cops, Joker, the gangsters have older sounding weapons. Taking that away is just wrong for the movie.
