Anyone have any knowledge of the audio tracks for the Death Wish movies? According to IMDB the first four were mono, there are blu rays with mono audio but no idea how these compare to the laserdiscs in terms of meddling, noise reduction etc.

All the Blu-ray releases have either English DTS-HD Master Audio 1.0 Mono or English DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Mono.
I can't imagine the laserdisc audios being any better, unless there are issues on the BDs that I'm not aware of. EDIT: Mind you, after hearing The Thomas Crown Affair comparison (LD vs Lossless BD) I would assume nothing. |
