I am planning on doing a regrade of the 4K release of The Wizard of Oz soon. Before I can though, I would like to acquire a copy of the Criterion laserdisc. In addition, I will replace the iconic sepia to color shot at the beginning because the UHD was redone digitally.

I heard that the 1989 MGM/UA laserdisc (ML101656) has the best sounding audio, according to
Blah-ray. The 1991 laserdisc is the same as it is a re-release of the same MGM laserdisc. The 1989 and 1991 VHS tapes have the same audio, but the EQ on both of those VHS releases are bright.

I'll have to get ahold of that version as well, but I'm still interested in the Criterion as color reference.

The link you sent is unavailable. Besides, I want to do one my own way.
