TomArrow, decided to have a another go with smart renderer 5 but unfortunately my trial ran out so a no go at the moment. Shame, as I would love to give it another try but not willing to buy the product unless I know I can comfortably use it and their is no sync issues like with Videoredo.

Ok reporting back. Happy to say, it's 100% frame-accurate.
 Used two Blu Ray sources. Final result is perfectly in sync. Now, caveat. It *technically* may be possible that a WEB-DL may not be as ... "compatible" ... with a Blu Ray source as another Blu Ray source, but I doubt that would be a real problem. After all the splicing together worked for you, it just wasn't in sync. Another caveat, there's a limit to the amount of cuts you can make. You can have a maximum of 200 clips in a project. Splitting a clip into two for cutting counts it as 2 clips. For my project, I had approximately 110 cuts. That said, you could always split the project up in two halves and splice those together later. Not very elegant, but I'm sure it would work. Positive thing (though not ideal) is that you can import a list of cuts you want to make. Name it same as the file you're importing with the file ending ".keyframe". That file consists of a list of frame numbers (starting at 0). After each frame number, there's a newline (no empty space!). After the last frame number, there must be another newline or it isn't recognized. It's a bit hacky, but it works. That's how I was able to do a scene detection and import the cuts for the final assembly.

Yea, that's the problem I'm having with the sync, when mixing a bluray with WEB-DL, Videoredo doesn't have a problem with sync when it's two bluray's. Does smart renderer have a joiner where you can save multiple different clips from different files and then join together like Videoredo. Tried to restart the trial by clearing the registry but a no go as well. Don't fancy having to fork out a load of dosh again having already bought Videoredo ages ago, especially when there's no gaurantee it will be in sync.

Well, it's like this. You have a main overview, which is basically a list of all your clips. This is basically the equivalent of a timeline in editing programs. A bit unelegant, admittedly. Each clip is basically a video file with In and Out points set. You can render this "timeline" out with the smart rendering. That's about it. You can go inside each clip and chance the in and out points. You can also set split points inside a clip and then when you go back to the timeline, the original clip is split into two parts around the split point (or more clips, when you have more split points). You can import the "keyframes" as mentioned, and convert these to split points as well.
If you wanna prepare a list of cut points for the Ghost Protocol, I can test it for you. Basically, I need two text files, one for each source (as they likely aren't 100% in sync), with the frame positions (starting at 0) of the cuts, which are typically the scene beginnings. This would look like this: Code: 10The keyframe positions need to be in sync with each other for both files, as I will simply split the main source at all these points and then arrange the resulting clips like A-B-A-B-A-B, if that makes sense. Of course this won't have all your adjustments in it, but it's just for testing the sync. Will then mux in the Blu Ray audio and see if it's still working. The Blu Ray will be the reference sync. I also need to know exactly what Blu Ray source you used (I still have the WEB-DL Open Matte), to make sure the sync stays intact. Btw, did you use the raw M2TS files of the Blu Ray or an MKV Remux? M2TS, at least with AviSynth, has seeking issues. Could lead to sync problems as well, if the software you use shares that issue. Edit: I have an encode of the Blu Ray here and that actually seems to be in sync with the Open Matte WEB-DL. Which makes it a little easier. If that is the case, I only need one text file and will use it for both sources.

Both bluray, 191240 frames (Best Buy Exclusive, tsmuxer remux with custom DTS-HD MA put into a mkv as Videoredo won't accept m2ts due to dts sound) and web-dl, 191216 frames, are already frame matched except at the end the bluray has 24 more black frames but as I am finishing with the bluray credits not a problem.
I think the reason for the problems is the original web-dl has bad sei (tsmuxer is reporting this at the cut points) which causes problems with Videoredo when edited together. Have run original web-dl through tsmuxer with sei re-build and will test again with editing new file in Videoredo. Here are the original frame cut points from both bluray and web-dl (referenced from earlier in the thread) before I chopped and changed things to incorporate Premiere effect and masked clips (my present cut points are obviously different at some points now to include these clips and also a few other changes I made to include expanding frame and car flip). Hmm, that's a strange format for the numbers. Can you by any chance give me the actual total frame numbers or tell me how to convert this number format to them? I reckon that's a frame count after the second, but since it's not actually 24fps, but rather 24000/1001 fps, I think there might be some potential imprecision issues. Correct me if I'm wrong tho.

Yeah, but ... the seconds don't perfectly line up with the frame endings/beginnings, as they would with 24fps, so the format is kinda retarded. Let's say I have 01:01:01:00, so that means I go 1 hour 1 minute and 1 second into the movie. At that point I will be somewhere in the middle of some frame duration. Now which frame is the correct one here? The previous one? The next one? The closer one? And if I add +1 frame, what then? Same question.
