Thanks maksnew and Vouka. Between the two of those there has to be a better picture to remove the logo then the telemundo broadcast I have. The FXX still is most likely the best source for the primary.

So good news! Randomly, I got a PM from a new member, shonenbat. He has the entire original EPIX broadcast which is 90% unbugged and contains the one shot I couldn't get anywhere else. So I might be even better off then before. Big thanks to shonenbat.

Still working on it. It's never as easy as it you think it is. To quote myself:
The footage that shonenbat gave me is great but sadly even at 1080i has less detail then the 720p FXX broadcast. The FXX has more detail and less blocking then any other HD copies I have...which is strange. They also have different color timing, the FXX is reddish like the BD (also the Telemundo) and Epix is greener, so it doesn't work 100% as a fill for the logo. So it just takes time to sort it out. It can never be 100% perfect but I rather not release something that I know I can fix.

Thanks for the update, and do understand how difficult these things can be, had a right job just replacing the Top Gun English intro text and location text in the Open Matte Amazon web-dl (kindly provided by maksnew) using videredo withot re-encoding and getting it synced without stutter to the bluray sound despite the frames been exactly the same, and that is without even color timing them (wish I could do that correctly). Please keep us updated and look forward to seeing the finished project with all your hard work included.

It was done! Now the IMAX version is found in Amazon with the best quality and without logos, in the near future I will be able to download it and make screenshots of the comparison. They will be placed in this thread the same way.
