Country:
If an odd NTSC SE DVD of OHMSS is anything to go by, MGM apparently got the same idea at one point in the DVD production process--the Transamerica T logo, allegedly seen on an alternate angle, cuts to black instead of fading to black as on film prints, according to an account of what it looked like (I actually made a recreation within the opening to the "Baby Hands" VHS release based on that account, and owing to my recent discovery of the Yadif filter I might redo said recreation at some point in the near future).

I've sampled Dr No, alas it's not the same HDTV as they originaly appeared online, but another one cropped on top to the point of losing top of heads.
But I remember all the Lowry scans first appeared on HDTV. They were on a forum calle teh something.

The Blu-ray of Spy was 4K remastered already no? I think it should be the same master, since it's perfect.
Eyes, indeed, would look way better in 4K remastered.

Went to the cinema for the Roger Moore Double Feature yesterday... I can't comment on the colors compared to the blu-ray as I am not terribly familiar with them, but I thought both films looked excellent on the big screen! I'm not entirely sure, but judging by how the other 5.1 007 remixes sound at home, my guess is that the audio used in the double feature was the same as the 5.1 on the blu-rays. Modernized MGM/UA logos were used at the start of the films.

If TSWLM was very good looking and had grain/nice detail then it should be the new scan. If FYEO looks any better/different to the BD it would also be one of the rumored 4K DCPs that were supposedly done for all of the originals in the recent past.

It has to be cos the FYEO Blu ray looks really dated.
