Lionsgate Home Entertainment has officially announced that it will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Quentin Tarantino's cult film Reservoir Dogs (1992) with a brand new 4K Blu-ray release, which will be available for purchase on November 15th.
Description: Frenzied, soaked in blood, and featuring gangsters both ruthless and engaging (who debate the deeper meanings of "Like a Virgin"), Reservoir Dogs — Quentin Tarantino's debut film about a heist gone horribly wrong — attained iconic cult status upon its release in 1992, and launched the career of a director whose singular vision has influenced a generation of filmmakers. To celebrate the movie's 30th anniversary, the cocked-and-loaded world of Mr. White (Harvey Keitel), Mr. Pink (Steve Buscemi), Mr. Orange (Tim Roth), and their '90s-cool cohorts makes its swaggering return on razor-sharp 4K Blu-ray.
Special Features and Technical Specs:
NEW 4K RESTORATION OF THE FILM
HDR AND DOLBY VISION PRESENTATION OF THE FILM
Deleted Scenes
"Playing it Fast and Loose" Featurette
"Profiling Res Dogs" Featurette
Audio: English 5.1 (Dolby TrueHD), Spanish 2.0 (Dolby Digital)
Subtitles: Optional English, English SDH, and Spanish subtitles for the main feature
No Tarantino Involvement this time

Been lurking on some other sites but eager to contribute here, now that I know a bit more about the site. Been contributing to Moshram when I can (ripping laserdiscs/vhs currently).

Hi, all. I'm just a regular guy who's very much into extended-cut movies. I like all kinds of movies, but mostly kung-fu and SyFy. Glad to be a part of this community.

| Return to Oz (1985) - LD Stereo Mix |

Has anyone ripped the original stereo track of Return to Oz (1985) from the USA LD (marked 341 AS) and synced it to the Blu-ray? All digital releases feature a 5.1 mix. I don't know whether the 5.1 mix is the 6-track stereo mix on some prints or an upmix.
Please let me know ASAP.

Looking likely we won't be getting a decent release of this any time soon, I was thinking about syncing a mono mix with the Blu-ray.
Does anyone have the mono from any older home releases? I'm going to bet no one has an LD. Anyone have the IVL DVD or even VCD?
Thanks.

| Preserving HDR/DV information when editing |

Maybe this is a dumb question, but I want to take a 4K UHD disc I've ripped, and re-edit a movie to conform to a different cut that does not exist in HD or UHD. Yes, I'm going to be secretive because I want it to be a surprise and also, I'm not sure how well its going to go. Either way, I want to preserve the color information best I can, just need to re-cut the film. Is there a way to do this when importing the video stream into Adobe Premiere? If not, what's the best way to keep the video as faithful to the HDR/DV transfer as possible? Thanks!

Hello all,
I'm very interested in fan preservations and creating my own. I would love to learn how to do so here.
