Batman Series (1989-1997) LD PCM to UHD
Or: Warner! Please include original audio as an option if you insist on revisionism (and love the bomb)
Here are my syncs of Batman (1989), Batman Returns (1992) and Batman & Robin (1997) for any regulars that would like them. I'm looking for the LD PCM of Batman Forever if anyone has them please. If raw I am happy to sync them and add to this thread to have everything in one place (with their permission of course).
Movie: Batman (1989)
Source: Warner LD [12000 A/B] - 3 Sides | Synced to: Warner UHD
Input: PCM 16-bit, 44.1khz, Stereo (bit perfect) | Output: FLAC 16-bit, 44.1khz, Stereo
Sourced: Soundman | Ripped: Soundman | Synced: BlightedTomato
Movie: Batman Returns (1992)
Source: Warner LD [15000] - 3 Sides | Synced to: Warner UHD
Input: PCM 16-bit, 44.1khz, Stereo (bit perfect) | Output: FLAC 16-bit, 44.1khz, Stereo
Sourced: Soundman | Ripped: Soundman | Synced: BlightedTomato
Movie: Batman Returns (1992)
Source: Warner LD [NJL-15000] - 3 Sides | Synced to: Warner UHD

Hi, I recently discovered this forum and I love the work you're doing here (fixing botched audio of modern releases) although I wish it wasn't necessary and publishers started doing their job.
Cheers!

Drive (2011): DVD Version |

From imdb:
Quote:The DVD version of the movie has a few noticeable differences compared to the Blu-Ray version.- The movie is degraded; color grading is very dull compared to the Blu-Ray version
- Some sequences uses different sound effects (The head stomping scene for instance)
- Original soundtrack is not featured
Anyone have more info on this? I ripped my DVD (R1) to check, but it's the same color grade and audio mix and the BD. From the description it almost sounds like a workprint version accidentally got pressed to a DVD. Although it could just be the BBC soundtrack instead of the original soundtrack (although sound effects and color grade should be the same). I assume it's a foreign release, or just another case of imdb having fake information.

Hey all,
Been a while. Apologies for the massive delay/absence. Got busy with work and my free time and personal life kind of tanked. But everything is under control now.
Some of my prior projects will no longer be made available with respect to a few companies that have produced official releases that either (IMO) equaled or bettered what I was trying to achieve and/or just plain include everything that mine did.
With that said, I have a few new projects in the works and will respond to any PMs ASAP.

Hi everyone, glad to be here. I'm particularly interested in having the best audio for my favourite films, and always interested in learning new things about preservation and restoration. Thanks for having me!
