Hello everyone.
I've recently found out about the wide world of fan edits and am anxious to see the improvements that have been made to some of my favorite, or least favorite, movies. Looking forward to some interesting conversations.

Hey, guys.
Today, I propose to you "Reservoir Dogs" open matte 1.78:1 regraded to the French Metropolitan 1.33:1 DVD.
![[Image: reservoir-fiche.jpg]](https://i.postimg.cc/Y2mqS6Rf/reservoir-fiche.jpg)
It's essentially a regrade to the French "open matte" DVD based on one single correction that worked pretty darn good on the whole film to look close enough to the DVD and with consistency. The following is the one shot used to colormatch the whole thing:

| How to retain black level? |

Hey, guys.
When using a LUT in DaVinci Resolve, sometimes I get a dark grey shade of black instead of the deep black level of the original master I'm working on. It's rather obvious during credits and fades to black, especially when comparing before and after. So can anybody explain to me how to retain the original master black level while keeping the color correction I applied using a LUT?
Thanks.
