as pointed out on blu-ray.com:
look at the map:

they seem not to used the already mastered shout BD, and just retouched it.. the map sure seems a bit more detailed and sharper, without obvious EE..

Yeah, odd, the German BD seems to have more grain there.

Maybe you should do...
..because, it seemd as if it is with my habbit to buy inferior BDs and oop insane priced releases, because I think they won't be ever released on better done, german languaged BD.. and suddenly, few month after I am happy that I got another.. a (new) release is announced...
...so maybe if you do such things more ofen, it happens that you get a newer release published, just before you are finished.. Smile

No, it fith with the other shots.. look at the very fine grain in the other shots at the US, let them seem a bit brighter.. and then the shot with the map: the background at the new german is like others.. lesser fine grained... that brighten the image up...

Ahah! Shoot me now.

Well, if they have fixed all the main issues (blue line, moiré effect, DAVID14 screen) and you're willing to share this version with me I still aim at providing a barebone version that features three different languages in stereo 2.0 uncompressed or equivalent quality audio. I just hope I don't need to re-synch it all

Maybe Shout put some noise into their picture?
Look at the left door, and the brickwall in that comparison:
http://screenshotcomparison.com/comparis.../picture:4

I would think, if they just DNR'ed the Shout release the wall would be a mess without any bricks in it...

I am curious how it looks in motion. But amazon did not send my BD, yet.
