Well, first of all: the Video differs from the Shout.. at least I do no9t remember the Shout having a "Constantin Films" and "StudioCanal" intro.
Also they "localized" the title insert... (Better job as the LD, but I won't say it is theatrical.) Also the put a german lossy dolby Theatrical Audio track on the Disc... (...nice bonus, but I would have preferred it looseless.) Moving Image seems pretty good. Title Inserts David 14 Moiree or not...

What a lovely release, so rare to get the localized titles on European blu-rays! I will happily include these in my seamless branching project. May I ask if the end credits are also in German? On the Italian 35mm print they were in English.
Moiré effect seems still there, at least judging from that still. If the Dolby track is at 256 kbps or above it's basically indiscernibile from a lossless track.

End Credits are in English. I think that this may not be the true german theatrical credit. The rest is completly in english.
Sadly the Dolby is only 224 kbps. Hint: check the still in 100%, not in 60%

Ah damn, I was hoping for a fully restored German theatrical version. Better than the Laserdisc one though ahah, that was terrible.
224 is still pretty good. DVDs were usually at 192 but, as it always happens, what really counts is the quality of the transfer they used. I'm curious to compare it with the Laserdisc audio.

Evit: you still have the link to the folder with the Audio Track from LD? I am just uploading a smal Video bit.. reencoded, so the original BD looks better, the part with Snake in van Cleefs Office... without audio.. just for you to check the Moiree...

Excellent. Yes, I should be able to find that link again

Still need about 6 minutes to upload.
I used MKVtoolnix to split it up as good as possible, and then reencoded it with HAndbracke.. to get the Filesize down... Edit: @#Evit: you got a PM. The Link expired.. so I had to make a new one.

Image quality is excellent.
About the Moiree effect... now that's funny. It appears that someone did what I was attempting to do myself. Manually fixing it! You can see the board shaking left and right but not the flag in front of it. I'm sure they introduced that fake vibration to conceal the fact that it's a still image overimposed... in any case, better than what I was achieving so, yeah... moiré effect has been fixed! Yay!
